Guhagar is a small village located in Ratnagiri. Though there is nothing much to explore, you can head here for a quiet day trip. The Guhagar Beach is the primary attraction here and it's definitely worth a visit. The beach just doesn't seem to end and the roaring sound of the water is immensely blissful. The cleanliness and natural beauty around is worth mentioning. The people here are very warm and welcoming and offer you a peek into their way of life and culture. There is a small market close by which is worth a visit. You can also head to the Ufarata Ganpati temple, which is close to the market if you have more time on your hands.
