Legend has it that Pulau Ubin was formed when three animals (a frog, a pig and an elephant ) from Singapore challenged each other to a race to reach the shores of Johor (near Malaysia) and the unsuccessful ones turning into stone. Battling many hurdles, the animals failed to reach the shore. Thus, the elephant and pig together turned into Pulau Ubin whilst the frog became Pulau Sekudu (Frog Island).

We took an 8 am flight to Johor Bahru. It was a very short flight and we reached at about 9 am. As soon as we left the airport we got a direct bus to Legoland. We reached there in an hour and it was so bloody hot. There is a food court just opposite to the amusement park and we decided to eat first and also bought some much-needed sunscreen and a huge umbrella to save us from the sun. We then spent a few hours in the amusement park. The kids had a blast there. We took many rides, saw a magic show, went to a mini Lego world where we found Lego Taj. It was a long and tiring day and the sun sure made it even more tiring. But nonetheless all of us enjoyed a lot. We had early dinner at the food court and proceeded towards the airport. Our flight was about 2 hours late so we reached KL and our hotel very late at night.
5. Bukit Padang: The sunset is even more alluring if you have made an effort to see it from a vantage point. Work your way on top of Bukit Padang. Yes, it is a hillock on Tun Fuad Stephens Park, a famous jogger’s park of KK. Jog your way up the green trail till you reach atop to get a bird’s-eye view of the city, the sunset and the extensive South China Sea. An interesting feature of this hillock is that it has a flat area of 1,000 square feet, from where pictures, videos, panoramic views can be captured.
