The best safari experience I ever had. Kruger national Park is the main sanctuary in South Africa having various types of animals, bird species, flora and fauna and many more. Everyday in Kruger we had to safari for 2 times so that we could watch as many as species of animals possible during our stay. We saw the famously known ' Big five' which included the five most dangerous animals on foot i.e. lion, buffalo, elephant, leopard and rhino. The best of the whole safari experience was to witness a herd of lions eating their buffalo prey and also loved the changing of colors in Kruger.

Kruger National Park, Skukuza Camp Rd, Skukuza, South Africa
If its Africa, it’s got to be wildlife. No African experience is complete without a good wildlife safari & witnessing the Big 5 in all its majesty. We had two days here and so we took full-day safaris which would mean higher probability of seeing the Big 5. Growing up on NatGeo and Animal Planet & being a wildlife enthusiast, I was really hoping to catch the drama of a chase.. Alas, that didn’t happen but we did see the elusive leopard parched high up on a tree trunk & a lot of the other magnificent animals. The experience of being in an African wildlife reserve is nothing short of surreal.

About Kruger Park

Another day in Kruger Park with a few special citings! Besides quite a variety of animals with some baby's/cubs, also a cheetah with cub and wild dogs. Both have a population of about 120 in the whole of Kruger (3/4 the size of Netherlands). In the pictures are a few animals we've encountered today!
