Intricate and massive, artful yet natural, it was quite the example of the Balinese way of combining human artistry with natural beauty. Took three wood carvers three weeks to carve this out of the roots of a litchi tree. Sometimes ‘epic’ is too small a word.

Bebek Teba Sari Restaurant
Stopped for Lunch at the Teba Sari Cafe in Ubud. Flanked by rice field and bamboo huts this restaurant is a favourite among expats, and Australian tourists. Here we tried the fried chicken(ayam) and fried duck(bebek). The food was amazing! We completed our meal with a citrus sorbet, one of the best I've ever had.
