Na Phra Lan Rd, Maharaj Pier, next to Wat Phra Kaeo Temple Complex, Bangkok
Feeling super refreshed, we woke up bright and early and started our sightseeing. Our first stop was The Grand Palace (Royal Palace). The place was absolutely MOBBED by tourists, but the palace was so beautiful that the crowds and heat didn't sway us from staying a bit longer. It is an unmissable part of Bangkok. Right in the heart of the city, the Grand Palace was built in 1782 and is made up of truly magnificent architecture – glittering gold stupas and shinny mosaics.
