Navamalai Tourism & Travel Guide

This is a very small village in the Kottayam District of Tamil Nadu and has a tragic history of exploitation of natural resources. You will still find this place comparatively greener than many other villages in spite of such careless acts of mankind. However, people of this place have become much more concious now and care a lot more about their natural heritage than they used to a few years ago. The hydroelectric Power Plant known as the Aliyar Power Plant is a big tourist attraction here.
