Golden Circle Tour
This tour covers multiple places like: Gullfoss (Golden Falls) waterfall, created by the river Hvítá, which tumbles and plunges into a crevice some 32 m (105 ft.) deep. It then moves to Thingvellir National Park, where the American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart at a rate of a few centimetres per year. It also includes Geysir geothermal area where the Strokkur geyser shoots a column of water up to 30 metres (98 ft.) into the air every 4-8 minutes in a thrilling display of nature’s forces.
Seven Coloured Earth in Chamarel
This place is the result of a natural phenomena of chemical formation in the sand dunes. It is believed that this is volcanic site. It certainly has raised a lot of curiosity in the geology field and tourist attraction. Just beside this land is a small area sheltering hundreds of years old tortoises.
Anelia Hotel And Spa
Okay, so it's day 2 and we had the tour of South Mauritius.. I like calling it Maurice.. Just as the locals call it..The turquoise sea, the green earth, the cool breeze and that notorious weather. Everything was just so perfect that even sitting and chilling by the beach and exploring the local markets and interacting with the locales made for the perfect day.
