The next morning we set off to Seminyak, which was 8 km from Kuta. One place which we had on our list, was a cafe called Sisterfields Cafe in Seminyak, where we had breakfast. It was en route this cafe, that the Bali-ness hit us. The roads are beautiful, with dark colored stone houses and lots of greenery. Sisterfields Cafe had charming interiors and a great ambience that we enjoyed while we filled our food craving tummies with some mouth watering delicacies on the menu.

Lot of amazing cafes, restaurants, Bars & night club..!! Fantastic Shopping.. Very lively place in South Bali! While diving I met a girl from Swiss who was working in China. Apparently she became my Diving buddy! After we finished Diving, we planned our trip ahead to Seminyak.. We made more friends enroute.. Friends from Philippines.. We visited Tanah Lot as it is considered to be one of the most beautiful sunset points in Bali! Since it was our last day and we did not know when would we meet next.. We went partying at Potato Head Beach Club! It would be one of the best located clubs with an infinity pool facing the sea! It was just one of the best trips of my life..! I miss Bali..!
Next on our list was the most amazing Tegallalang rice terraces. The sheer beauty and nature leaves you speechless and awestruck. Pls wear very comfortable walking shoes if you are keen on trekking through the rice terraces and taking some awesome pictures (which by the way I strongly recommend). In the evening, we did what we do best - Shopping and Bargaining!!! Any Ubud trip is incomplete without a visit to the Puri Saraswati temple, which opens to visitors only once in a while.
It was love at first sight. Cafe Seminyak is located on one of the busiest and the most commercial roads in Seminyak. A cozy place, with lovely ambience, it made me fall in love next with the most famous Indonesian dishes - the Nasi Goreng and Mie Goreng. If you are someone who likes your food slightly on the spicy side, you need to make sure to tell them about your preferences, else you'll have to put up with bland food. After a satisfying meal there, we hopped to Bintang Supermarket for .. Flavored Yogurt! You have to try those when in Bali! We were exhausted by then, and decided to head back to our suites, when we accidentally stumbled upon a place, which I'm sure is nothing short of heaven to all the Nutella lovers - Nutella Bar, a Nutella themed cafe - all Nutella delights under one roof! Everything we discovered in Bali made us fall in love with it more! But this was just the beginning. If 2 days in a place can make you adore it, imagine what staying there for 8 days would do to you!
The Library Seminyak
If you are a great lover of coffee and some scrumptious breakfast, then you should certainly head to this place. The food is really delicious and the coffee is outstanding. The place is fairly priced and the service is really good. Since i am a pure vegetarian and the menu had very limited veg options, the staff was very open on customizing the dishes for me.
Queen's Tandoor - Seminyak
Yah, I know that. We cannot do without one, no matter how much you keep mentioning those pictorially beautiful looking cuisines on your profiles. When it comes to food, we do not last more than 2 days without our food. Well, you won't be disappointed here, at least. The Queens of India comes as a heavenly rescue for the Desi foodies. You can order and eat almost any Indian cuisine here - North Indian, South Indian, Mumbai Chopatti, Bhel and :pAnd guess what, you will find find more 'Pardesis' here lining up for Indian Food that the Indians themselves. Which tells me something- Indians Rock, so does their food- even globally.
