Phew! Just on time for office. It has been raining from Jaipur thru Delhi all the way except for few places. Did not stop anywhere for the rain coz it is not wise to take a stop in rain, the cloud would be moving in one direction and the highway in other, and the rain is intermittent for the entire journey. Thankfully I have a good helmet (and not lost by Agarwal Packers), you put the visor down and wear a jacket with gloves (lost by Agarwal Packers) you can continue to drive. Though my hands got a little numb I kept moving. And the worst part of the ride was the return road wasn't good at all, it's all broken and full of lumps and holes particularly the lane close to the divider, sometimes I kept wondering if I was on the same highway to Delhi or missed my route somewhere coz of rain. Added to that the truck drivers just don't indicate while shifting their lanes except for one among a hundred, they don't have a habit of using the indicators at all!! Even for turns they use their hands to signal. I felt like I had been driving for so long (most of it I guess is due to the rain and hence a lower speed) but from the Tracker it's just 2.5 hrs and without a break. To sum it up it was an Adventure in itself ;)
