All four districts of Puducherry are located in the coastal region. Five rivers in Pondicherry district, seven in Karaikal, two in Mahé and one in Yanam drain into the sea, but none originates within the territory. Puducherry was the residence of Sri Aurobindo. The Sri Aurobindo Ashram still operates from Puducherry. Static line jump usually requires 3 days of training. In Puducherry tandem jump is done from an altitude of 10000ft, while static line is done from just 4500ft. For a tandem jump, instructor gives some training for 60 mins on how to jump, how to get off from the plane, how to balance the body, landing. After that you dress up with dive suit and go to the plane. The plane at the Puducherry diving site is so small and can only, accommodate a maximum of only 3 persons with no doors. It takes almost 30-45 minutes to gain the elevation of 10,000 ft. The views of the pondicherry city and beaches are awesome. After you reach the elevation of 10000 ft, you go outside of the plane and stand on the small platform below the plane wings. Almost for first 20-30 seconds, it is a free fall and after that instructor usually opens the parachute. The free fall is the best part of the jump. Due to the security guidelines at Pondicherry airport, organizers sometime do not get a chance to film the dive.

Bhutan is no ordinary place. It is the last great Himalayan kingdom, enshrouded in mystery and magic, where a traditional Buddhist culture carefully embraces global developments. Surprising Bhutan Bhutan holds many surprises. This is a country where the rice is red and where chillies aren't just a seasoning but the main dish. It's also a deeply Buddhist land, where monks check their smartphones after performing a divination, and where giant protective penises are painted beside the entrance to many houses. Yet while it visibly protects its Buddhist traditions, Bhutan is not a museum. You will find the Bhutanese well educated, fun loving and well informed about the world around them. It's this blending of the ancient and modern that makes Bhutan endlessly fascinating.
