The day started with a Target to cover approx 500km , so we could explore some part of Rajasthan. We started our journey at 11:00 am from Delhi with first halt at 2:00 pm , had some mouthwatering daal baati choorma at NH: DESI (NEAR kotputli). We reached Garh palace situated in Bundi at 6:00 pm, the palace had everything to amaze you. Booked rooms in nearby hotel Taragarh Haveli , the day ends on a high note having - gatta curry (a local cuisine) & bajre ki roti for dinner.
We started the next day from Bundi(Rajasthan) for Shirdi at 8:30 am covered 3 states and approx 780 km which took us almost 14 hours with regular halts. The road from Bundi SH31 to the main chittorgarh highway NH52 was an average one somewhere even worse, but soon we were amazed to see Agra-Mumbai expressway. We just zipped thru the road. Halted for dinner at a local dhaba - hotel Patel wada approx 30 km before malegaon , they served us some local mouth watering cuisine i.e. veg kolapuri & I forgot the name of another dish 😛 . Again the road till malegaon was 4 lane but once we left malegaon flyover for Shirdi it took us almost 2 and half hours to cover 90 km as it is mostly single road. But anyhow once we reached Shirdi , everyone was relaxed n happy to complete such an amazing road trip. We checked into "Nisharg cottage resort" I would recommend this place to everyone for an stay close to nature.
