I booked 2 Turbojet ferry tickets for me and my husband online on klook.com site for our trip to Macau from HK i.e. from China Ferry terminal, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hongkong to Macau Outer Harbour. There is an option to buy tickets on the spot at the Ferry terminal but we preferred to book in advance. The ferry departure to Macau is hourly so you can choose to leave at the time most convenient for you. It was a 55 min comfortable journey from HK to Macau. Once we reached the Ferry terminal in Macau and completed the Immigration formalities, we went outside the terminal where the free Shuttle buses belonging to the most popular hotels and Casinos of Macau were parked. We got into the Grand Lisboa hotel bus which would take us directly to the city centre. Once we reached the City Centre, it was a 15 min walk to Best Western Hotel Sun Sun which I highly recommend if you are planning a trip to Macau. The rooms are spacious with a beautiful view of the sea and is walking distance from Senado Square. After check in, we rested for a while in the room, freshened up and headed out for some sightseeing. We walked to Senado Square, a lively & bustling Square, with plenty of shops and eateries in and around it. The yummy Portuguese egg tarts are a must try. We clicked a few pictures and then walked slowly towards the spectacular Ruins of St Paul's which is just a 10 min walk from Senado Square. We also visited the Monte Fort & Macau Museum just next to the Ruins. After we were done with clicking pics, we walked back towards Senado Square and decided to visit the most famous Casinos of Macau. We started off with Grand Lisboa Casino, the grandest of them all followed by Wynn, MGM & Star World Casino. All of them were one better than the other but Grand Lisboa was the best as it had a Vegas feel to it as there were Vegas style dance performances. We really enjoyed our Casino hopping night. Was a memorable experience.
Our Day 2 plan included the much awaited trip to Venetian. After a quick lunch at Senado square, we took the Bus num 26A which takes you to the doorsteps of Venetian & Galaxy Macau. The ride was less than 30 mins. We decided to first stroll through and explore the quaint Taipa Village which is just a few minutes walk from Venetian. After clicking a few pics, we then headed to the Venetian. The Grand Canal Shoppes & the Venetian Casino are a must see when you are at Venetian. We also visited The Parisian Hotel which has a replica Eiffel Tower & Galaxy Macau which are just next door to Venetian. By the time we finished exploring all these places, it was 9 pm. We went to the bus stop just outside Galaxy Macau and waited for the bus 26A which took us back to Senado Square. After a yummy dimsum dinner at a restaurant near the Square, we returned back to our hotel.
The next day after checking out of our hotel, we took bus num 3A to the Macau Outer Harbour terminal for our Turbojet ferry ride back to Hongkong.
