30 Things To Do Before You Turn 30

Tripoto

The youth of emerging nations are living in confusing times. They finally have all the money, but no time to spend it. They chase credit cards instead of their dreams, and told to dream meaningless dreams of buying meaningless things.

Before you turn 30, dream a life out of the ordinary and make it happen.

Don't stress about a home loan, a pointless promotion or an expensive life insurance policy before you are 30. What matters now are experiences - get lost in the woods, party on a beach with strangers and climb mountains that take your breath away.

To shake you out of your quarter-life coma, here's a list of 30 awesome things to put on your list of goals you actually care about.

1. Before you turn 30, take a long solo-trip to somewhere you've never been. How about Nepal?

This is stupidity. Before 30 plan your life and make your own home else you won't be able to do it. That's the age where you can do maximum.

I am 28...I have already done 7 things out of your list and have been to 20 other awesome places which you havent mentioned (Canada, China, Malaysia etc) I could do it as I started working at 21, became independent by 25 and have been able to travel for 3 months every year since past three years without having to worry about money. Life insurance is a necessity. Premiums are cheap (term policy costs 6000 rupees a year) when you are young, also it gives you a sense of security that if you die while climbing a glacier in Alaska or while jumping out of the plane in New Zealand your insurance will pay 50 lakhs to your parents. I also have a home loan but I have a calculated planning of how I will pay it off without compromising on my travel And before anyone assumes anything , I didn't have any family wealth nor any VC funding when I started my small business :) What you have mentioned above is definitely worth experiencing but you also need money for that...
