Day 1: Nairobi - Masai Mara Game Reserve -
After breakfast at your hotel, we pick-you-up at 07:30-am and driven to Masai Mara via the Great Rift Valley where you’ll stop for panoramic and breathtaking-views. Descend the escarpment and drive through the Hemingway-trails to arrive at Narok-town for lunch. After lunch, proceed to Masai Mara arrive for late afternoon/early evening game drive in the park until sunset.
Spend two nights here to explore, discover and experience the magic of Masai Mara, a spectacular watch for many millennia that has put Masai Mara the world’s 7th wonder! , Dinner & overnight in a self-contained tented-camp / Lodge with hot shower. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, & dinner.
Day 2: Masai Mara Full day-
Morning and afternoon game viewing. We leave for full day trip into the expansive game reserve at 07:30-am after breakfast. The famous Masai Mara is renowned for its abundance of great animal herd. It’s a wildlife paradise!
Virtually every type of animal is to be found here……Spotted; speckled and dotted are the meanings of “Mara”. This is the descriptive name given by the Maasai people for this beautiful land of trees, shrub, savannah grassland and shadows made by clouds that hover over the plains…..
- It’s only in the Masai Mara where it’s possible for a herd of elephants to surround your car so close such that you can be able to see their Matriach eyelashes and have an eye-contact.
- Herd of lions and their cubs may hold your interests hostage for more than an hour as they come into the shadow of your vehicle to escape the midday heat!
- A family of cheetah sunning themselves sleepily on a rock; the drama of a lion making a kill just 15-20 feet away from your vehicle, or the thrill of elephant flapping happily her big ears to cool off from mid day heat will make your holiday dream come true! [All these are possible with our professional and expert guide on the lead].
Drive to the Mara River where you’ll enjoy your lunches under the bushes picnic-site by the river-side as you watch hippos and crocodiles. Across the river thousands of Wildebeest migration takes place- a great spectacle to behold- the ‘’Big Five’’ animals from Serengeti park/ Tanzania crossing into Masai Mara/ Kenya. After lunch, have an afternoon game drive until sunset, then driven back to your camp/lodge for a deserved hot shower and a buffet, sumptuous dinner...!
- Meet Maasai tribesmen come to your camp in the evening to perform traditional dances around the bonfire and join them in their traditional dances. Dinner & overnight-stay in a self-contained tented-camp/lodge. Meal Plan: Breakfast, Lunch, & dinner.
Day 3: Maasai Mara -
Pre-breakfast game drive from 06:30-am to 09:30-am, to see leopards, cheaters, lioness hunting. This has been considered the best time to see the cuts-animal making a kill as the sun-rises on the horizon. Back to your camp for a full breakfast, then visit the Maasai village [manyatta] and later depart for Nairobi with lunch served on the way, arriving in Nairobi between 16:30 hrs and 17:00 hrs at your hotel/residence with lots of treasured album and good memories to take-home! “Karibu” Kenya! “Welcome” Kenya!
