Before reaching Ghorepani, you will pass by large Magar village named Ulleri. What You Can Expect

5-days Annapurna Sunrise View Trek begins with a flight to Pokhara and a drive to Nayapul. Poon hill (3,210m) is the highest point of the trek. You will be safely guided by one of the professional guides and you will be supported by porters to carry your trekking requisites. Regarding accommodation, you will stay overnight at guesthouses or hotels. This is an easy trek which can be accomplished by anyone with a moderate level of fitness.

Itinerary

Day 01: Fly to Pokhara (910m), Trek to Tikhe Dhunga (1495m)

It takes around 25 minutes to fly to Pokhara from Kathmandu soaring above stunning landscape including lush vegetation, glistening lakes and higher Himalayas. Pokhara actually is located in the centre of Nepal and is popular as ‘nature’s paradise’.

Pokhara magnificently embraces the views of Manaslu, Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri, Annapurna range and several other vistas. Famous also as ‘city of lakes’, in Pokhara you can also experience boating in the lakes.

From Pokhara, you will drive to Nayapul passing by the large Lumle village. From Nayapul, you will begin our trek and walk to Birethanti which is one of the prosperous set. En-route, you will also pass through wooded area full of bamboo trees and pass by a big cascade. You will also have a gradual climb before reaching Tikhe Dhunga.

Day 02: Trek to Ghorepani (2850m)

Trekking for around 7 hours on this day, you will trek to Ghorepani from Tikhedhunga. On the way to Ulleri village, on this day you will traverse a suspension bridge and climb on a steep stone staircase. Ulleri is the large Magar village set 2080m high.

You will walk ahead from the village and climb passing through cultivated areas. You will also stroll across two streams before reaching a place named Nangethanti. From here, you will go up to Ghorepani lying at the elevation of 2850m. In Ghorepani, you will catch the glimpse of magnificent panorama of Dhaulagiri I (8167m), Nilgiri (6940m), Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna I (8091m), Tarke Kang (7193m) and more.

Day 03: Hiking -Poonhill (3210m), trek to Tadapani (2500m)

This is the most amazing day of the entire trip. You will be trekking for around 6 hours. The trek begins early in the morning today and you will hike to Poon Hill which lies at the altitude of 3210m. Here, you will see the excellent views of the sunrise that beautifies the Himalaya range views, including Mt. Annapurna South, Dhaulagiri, Fishtail, and others.

After spending unforgettable time at Poonhill, you will trek to Tadapani. In Tadapani, you will relax and enjoy flashing back on the memorable moments you had at Poon Hill.

Day 04: Tadapani to Pokhara (910m)

On this day, you will trek for around 5 hours to reach Nayapul. On the way, the path moves down to Birethanti and wanders on stony staircase. You will also pass by the terraced fields and walk very close to Modi River valley. From Birethanti, you will walk to Nayapul taking around an hour.

From Nayapul, you will drive back to Pokhara.

Day 05: Pokhara to Kathmandu

Departing from Pokhara, on this day you will drive back to Kathmandu. En-route, passing pleasant sight of the mountains, rivers, terraced farms, rustic settlements and more makes the drive really pleasant.

Upon reaching Kathmandu, you will drive to the hotel where you relax.
