Sonoma County, California:

With year-round cool temperatures, damp air, and crisp Pacific winds, the Oregon Coast provides respite from the scorching summers and hence is a welcoming summer destination in USA. The stunning Oregon coast is dotted with gorgeous Pacific Northwest beaches, where lying on the sand and enjoying the cool ocean breezes feels like heaven. Chase the 40-mile-long 'Three Capes Scenic Loop' for expansive views of Oregon's rugged shores. This dramatic route passes through quaint beach towns and old-growth forests and offers several hiking trails.

Oregon Coast:

If you are looking for a laid-back summer vacation, you cannot go wrong with Sonoma. Located 45 miles north of San Francisco, Sonoma County attracts a lot of tourists with its small-town charm, beautiful landscapes, relaxed vibes, farm-to-table restaurants, and most importantly, its lush vineyards and indulgent wine tasting tours. There is a lot to see and do here other than winery tours and wine tasting sessions. Chill out at a Pacific coast beach, enjoy gourmet meals at Sonoma Bistro, canoe down the Russian River, and camp in the redwoods at Armstrong Redwoods State Park.

Glacier National Park, Montana:

Dubbed the "Crown of the Continent," Glacier National Park is one of the best summer destinations in USA for everyone who loves the great outdoors. Why summer, you ask? Well, it's because the park's well-known attraction, Going-to-the-Sun Road is accessible only during the summer months. Maneuver your car through the twisting turns of this mountain-hugging road and explore the wilderness in sheer awe! The vast park is home to several endangered wildlife species and boasts 2 mountain ranges, hundreds of glacial lakes, dense forests, waterfalls, 700 miles of hiking trails, and 13 campsites.

Chincoteague Island, Virginia:

Nothing screams summer more than a beach holiday. If soaking up the summer vibes at a serene beach is what you are pining for this summer, then Chincoteague Island is the place to be! This lesser-known summer beach town offers uncrowded beaches and soothing sunrise/ sunset views for you to enjoy. Sit back on a beach chair in the shade of beach umbrella and feast your eyes on the spectacular vistas. Apart from beaches, Chincoteague is also famous for wild horses, thanks to the children's book ' Misty of Chincoteague '. Go hiking or biking along the Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge for great wildlife spotting opportunities. Don't fail to attend the annual Pony Swim Festival if you are visiting in July.

Cape Cod, Massachusetts:

Another perfect summer destination in USA, in fact, a vacationers' favorite, Cape Cod is one of New England's coastal gems. The Cape is known for its beautiful ocean beaches with rolling sand dunes, seafood shacks, lighthouses, seaside bike trails, scenic small towns, shingle-style cottages, old-fashioned ice-cream parlors, and a plethora of fun activities, including hiking, golfing, yachting, fishing, and whale watching. Active or laid-back holiday, the Cape has got you covered! The annual Hydrangea Festival that celebrates the area's signature flowers is a visual treat, which must not be missed if you are booking flights for travel in July.
