So, I successfully complete my 10 months in Noida. With memories of my beautiful city- Doon kept intact deep inside my heart, I have started liking this all-new place post marriage. After a hectic schedule from the last few months, I am all set to publish my next food blog mentioning great food options nearby Gaur City, Greater Noida West Chaar Murthi- the place we currently live in.
Noidawales absolutely love street food, from the tangy Golgappas, Papdi Chaat to the Spicy Momos, Soya Chaaps, Rolls & Kebabs - the list is pretty big! And if you suddenly find yourselves hungry after reading this, make your way to these spots near to Gaur City, Great Noida West. I am sure, the delicacies from this area will give your taste buds a happy & chatpati ride!
1. Anna Dosa (opposite Mahagun Mart Gaur City 2)
Craving for some authentic South Indian delicacies straight from the hands of South Indian cooks? Then this place is a must-visit! Located in Gaur City 2, just opposite to Mahagun Mart, Anna Dosa snack point has many outlets around the city and this one often remains crowded. From fluffy idlis, uttapam to vada & paper-thin dosas of different fillings, there's something for every vegetarian foodie. They serve dosas topped with a spoon full of butter, accompanied by coconut & red chutney and sambhar that you can ask infinite times.
The outlet just jumped into providing North Indian food too that includes parathas of different varieties and Indian desserts like Gajar Halwa, Jalebi with savory items like Samosa & tikki-golgappa-chaat. If you are a resident around Gaur City, then Anna Dosa is a must taste. You can even order it on Swiggy & Zomato yet I highly recommend you to taste through your personal visit since till the time it reaches your home, it gets soggy and tasteless.
2. Lucknowi Zaika (Near Gaur City 2)
I had no idea about the Veg Galauti Kababs and 'ulti kadhai ka paratha' before I got to taste Lucknowi Zaika. For a nominal price of 50 Rs per plate, you will get 2 ' ulti kadhai ka paratha ' served with 2 shallow fried Veg Galauti Kababs and green chutney with lots of onions. The outlet, located next to 'Anna Dosa', just sell these Galauti kababs & paratha that either you can ask separately in a plate or get it rolled in the form of 'kabab roll' for a quick on the go bite. For me, this is the best Lucknowi cuisine I ever tasted after Biryanis. Don't believe me? Go and taste yourself. I am waiting for your review in the comment section below.

3. The Chaap Hut (Gaur City 2)
Well, I got to know about the soya chaaps when I shifted NCR from Dehradun after my marriage. Probably the trend of Soya Chaaps started from Delhi NCR only, I guess. After tasting this recipe on a number of outlets scattered around from Noida sector 76 to sector 18, my taste buds finally stopped at this one. I bet you to taste 'The Chaap Hut' malai chaaps once! These are my personal favorites and I use to customize it as per my taste- more roasted onions, extra Amul cream, spicier. The prices are nominal- 70 Rs for half Malai Chaap and 120 Rs for a full. The only con is they dont deliver online on Zomato & Swiggy and when I asked the reason, he said- "Mam hum yaha hi demand poori nahi kar paate, itna rush hai, online kese karenge!" The chaap wale bhaiya now knows me well since I shot his chaap making process for my Tiktok video upload.
4. Zaika Kathi Rolls (Gaur City 1)
Not talking about the 'Egg/Chicken Rolls' when you are in Delhi NCR is no lesser than a sin. There are a plenty of 'Roll walas' nearby Gaur City but this one is my all-time favourite pick. Enjoy a variety of rolls here from veg, egg to chicken and chaap at a cost as low as Rs 50. This outlet also sells momos, chicken soups & chicken biryani all super delicious under 100 INR. This place is highly recommended if you are looking for cost-effective options without compromising the taste. You can order via Zomato & Swiggy and enjoy it at the comfort of your home.
5. Veer Ji Malai Chaap Wale (Gaur City 2, Crossing Republic)
After 'The Chaap House' at Gaur City 2, I can recommend Veer Ji Malai Chaap for its super spicy Punjabi Masala Chaap. I never visited the outlet yet I got their chaap delivered via Zomato. (Visit me Zomato profile here) The half came for Rs 120. Recommended by one of my colleagues, Veer Ji has many outlets spread across Delhi NCR. 6. Momos Hut (Crossing Republic, Gaur City 1)
I never thought of enjoying a satisfying plate of chicken momos from a place other than my loving Dehradun- famous for its Chinese & Tibetan cuisines. This place, located at Gaur City 1, has done a little justice anyways. I ordered chicken momos & chicken Hakka noodles from Momo Hut and they were super delicious. If you are a resident of Gaur City like me and craving for some authentic Chinese food, then this place is a perfect pick.
