What do you imagine when you hear the words 'food fest'? Lots of yummy food and fun? Well, these fests that we're going to talk about, offer that and a lot more! We've come up with a fabulous list of upcoming food fests that you must visit and we're sure you won't be disappointed! 

HT Palate Fest

Starting with the first festival on the list happening in the capital of India, HT Palate fest is one of the biggest food and music festivals in the country. With appearances from famous artists such as Jacqueline Fernandez and Kanika Kapoor and performances by bands such as Rocknaama and Astitva, this fest is an excellent pick for all music fans. For all the foodies, international cuisines such as Indian, French, Chinese and more will leave you spoilt for choice. Hundreds of food stalls from major food outlets around the country will also be present to tickle your taste buds. They have also invited celebrity chefs such as Chef Saby and Chef Nihant Choubey to host live cooking sessions for everyone in the audience. Is your palate ready for this upcoming fest?

Zomaland

Who isn't aware of the food delivery giant, Zomato? Zomaland by Zomato is a food carnival that debuted last year and is back for another round this year. Think music, entertainment and games, Zomaland will have it all. Replete with food for every palate, games for all age groups, music for all ears and incredible attractions to please every eye (and camera, of course!), it's a spectacle that you won't want to miss. The likes of Rahul Dua and Divine will also be there to entertain you while you munch on yummy delicacies!

All Mumbaikars, chalk an X on your calendar for the dates below, as the X Food Festival is here to serve you hidden gems and local dishes from the length and breadth of this country. Be it Lucknowi kebabs, momos from three different regions or Chhattisgarh's red-ant chutney, this food festival is on a mission to bring India's culinary diversity on your plate. Another amazing food fest in the capital that offers way more than just a delicious array of food. This one is a personal favourite as they have corners for all kinds of foodies. Say hello to Momoland and Dessertland! They even have an open-air cinema with movies like Despicable Me being screened as well as some fun games for kids and a silent disco! We also love their 'Quirk Bazaar' that showcases amazing brands and vibrant decor, which means many photo-ops! They're back for their sixth edition this time.

Ahare Bangla

A unique food bonanza organized by the Government of West Bengal, Ahare Bangla is unlike most food festivals. Hosted as an initiative to benefit the farming community of Bengal, this fest showcases the most unconventional ingredients and dishes that are exclusively available in this part of the country. If you have never heard of Kalabhat (black aromatic rice), Garole Lamb or Bhajakalai Dal, this is where you can explore the most authentic flavours of Bengal. This festival will also have gourmet cuisine prepared by famous chefs and cultural performances showcasing the best the state has to offer.

11th National Street Food Festival

You can't deny that Indian street food has a lot of fans and that's exactly why we had to include this one in the list. National Association of Street Vendors of India (NASVI) is back with the 11th edition of the National Street Food Festival. The festival will see street food vendors from 25 Indian states come together in one place to offer you the best time ever.
