Among the chaos of life, we all have longed for a day that is solely spent on for ourselves, Haven’t we? Most often than not it never happens. And one day life will gift you that day without you even realizing. At the end of the day you will come to know, ohh this was a wonderful day, spent in extra-ordinary ways that we have never ever imagined.

Of all the joys we had on Sundays that spent in sleeping and binge watching our favorite series, deep inside you'll realize how quickly the day went. And often we repent for not being productive. We all have experienced this. If you are lucky to be gifted that whole Sunday with no engagements or commitments, we may be able to grab it and spent it on our own.

This is about such a day I have spent alone and its one of a distinct day where I have made myself feel special.

On 24 March 2019, I had woken up to an unenthusiastic day with cursing myself for signing up for some random workshop. The Seminar topic was a cliche, "How to grow your income". Since I was planning a business on my own for a while, I thought I could get some insights to it. Since it was held in a 5 Star hotel and I had my friend's car with me for few days, I decided to go.

Even though I was expecting some low self esteemed crowd like myself-who else goes for such workshops? But on the contrary I was amused by the crowd and the ambiance. Nicely decorated restaurants, a small pond inside with some lotuses and cozy decors. I have decided to attend it anyway.

It was a half day workshop organized by Ameet Parekh who is a well known Business coach, entrepreneur and speaker. It was about Success, Core principles of business, personal development and Training. In fact it was very useful and actually gave me some aspects that I never thought of. Felt good after attending it and at around 2.30pm it was over. I thought of having lunch at some food court nearby, but finally I decided to to go Casa de Cafe, a newly opened Artisan cafe. Since it is a small drive across Bandra Worli Sea Link, I decided to go. With some great music in the radio station and a sunny day, the drive on less traffic Sunday is a thrilling for anybody who loves the spirit of Mumbai.

One of the specialties of the cafe is that they serve Kopi Luwak, the most expensive coffee in the world. Since I was hungry I opted for another special item in the menu, the Bamboo Biriyani. It is as awesome as the name, juicy tender chicken and basmati rice is enough to satisfy your palate. This is the moment I realized that I need more Me time like this once in a while. After delicious Biriyani and a special Ginger Tea, I dived into a book that I recently bought - "Build to Last " by James C. Collins and Jerry I. Porras. It is comparative study of some of the greatest Visionary companies in comparison with some other companies such as Ford, Johnson & Johnson etc.

After spending some time reading, I decided to head back to my room. It was another 45 mins drive, but the fact was its a Sunday evening drive along the Eastern expressway. I had a fun ride along the highway rushing between the cars and switching lanes. with the feeling of spending a day quite fruitfully, I decided to go for a movie, I mean why not? The night is still young, and what is a Date without a movie? I particularly enjoyed movies alone, but its not always the case. But this day it was even more beautiful. It was a Bollywood Film 'Badla' with Amitabh Bachchan and Tapsee Pannu. Movie was good and on my way back with some energy still wanting to do more, I gifted myself some Tandoori Chai, Its a special Tea known for its preparation method. Its made by burning earthen pots in a small furnace and then the tea poured into it.

Out of the ordinary while I was walking on my way back, I met two youngsters who looked devastated. They approached me saying their bike has been towed by the police and they don't have money to pay the fine. They begged me to help them, said they will return it the next day itself. At first I was a bit confused as I had been trapped many times in the Past, but I decided to go for it. What if this is bonus God gave me to end this wonderful day on a kind notion? I took them to the ATM and gave them some bucks for paying the fine and Petrol. I calculated, even if they don't return it, I will just forget it as I didn't want to spoil the day. As Prophet Mohammed (Peace be upon him) said, "Fulfill the Trust for the ones who entrusted you". To my relief they called me at night for thanking me but they didn't have money after fines to pay me back today. I told them to pay me back whenever they can. What more can make your sleep peaceful than an act of kindness? I slept with the thoughts of writing this blog asap.

Peace
