A day trip to Birmingham, UK

26th Sep 2016

Birmingham is a major city and metropolitan borough of West Midlands, England. It is the largest and most populous British city outside London.

The above fact had made me curious to visit this city. After researching on the Internet about the places to visit here and having a tight budget. I decided to go for a one day trip and tried to cover all attractions and save money on unnecessary hotel stay.

I started from London early in the morning by taking a coach from Victoria station at 7 am and reached Birmingham by 10 am. This city is just about 125 miles away from London so I reached in 3 hours.

After grabbing some snacks I have started to explore Birmingham. It was totally a “on foot” tour with one or two local bus trips. GPS on my phone helped me reach the tourist places so it was not so difficult to spot.
