I am lover of Mumbai city. Mumbai is also called "Dream city" .For me its my Dream city (which came true as now i live here) . I am explorer. Never a dull moment in this city,so much to explore.

I am back packer n truly city gal. Like to explore city in my style, my pace.

Public transport is Best in this city. Local train and BEST buses are life line for commuters here. Although i have luxury not to travel in rush hours and I am big fan of BEST Buses.

If you have time and passion to feel this commercial capital of India. I will recommend download a app call "m- Indicator" , pack a small picnic- Water bottle , an orange or Apple {easy to eat fruit}, phone with headphone, enough small change money for bus tickets and you are all set to explore Mumbai.

My Bus trip-

I took Bus number 28 from JVPD ( Juhu Vile Parle) to CSTM( V.T station) early morning. This bus took me through- Juhu beach, Santacruz,Khar, Bandra Linking road,Mahim, Dadar, Prabhadevi, Worli,Haji Ali, Peddar road, Babulnath,Charni road, Marine Lines to CSTM Terminus. I had my music on as a company.

Early morning its beautiful to see beach, people starting there day, Vegetable market in Mahim, Dadar. Haji Ali, Beautiful beach of Worli and UNESCO declared CSTM station.

For photographer its lot to capture portriat from window of Bus.

At CSTM I enjoyed the historical Station building, Had a really good hot masal chutting chai at one of the stalls.

Took a double Decker bus from CSTM bus stand which took me through, Oval Park, Mantralaya , Vidhan Bhavan to NCPA.

In India, Mumbai is only city who still has some Double Decker buses and its thrill to seat on upper deck n watch the city going by all the beautiful architecture of South Mumbai.

Took a Walk on Marine drive(another UNESCO declared site of Mumbai) and back to CSTM.

Near the Bus station I saw Pancham Puriwala- Its famous North Indian Restaurant for Chola Puri. Small , authentic, simple restaurant .I love this kind of hidden gem in lanes of Mumbai.

I had Chole, Masal Puri with glass of Buttermilk. It was so delicious and big for single person that i couldn't felt hungry then for whole day. It cost me only 70 Rupees for such delicious meal.

After well fed Lunch I took another Bus - 108 from CSTM . Which has nice route to see whole south Mumbai like- Indira Dock, Ballard pier, Reserve Bank, Mantralay, Marine Lines, Babulnath, Walkeshwar to Kamla Nehru Park.

Got down at Kamla Nehru park which is on hill top of Malabar hill, its nice park to walk around n seat on one of the benches in shade with your book .I saw some people where conducting there business from this benches on there laptop. It was safe, clean, beautiful garden. Had some cold drink outside the garden and took another bus to JVPD via Opera House.

It was nearly 7 hours journey in all,

around 100 kms in Bus

around 7 hours Bus ride

6 bus rides

In 105 Rupees.

The experience was amazing as i saw daily life of people going to office, kids commuting from school, ladies going for shopping at linking road market, old chawls like houses next to skyscrapers, slums holding hands to Posh five star apartment buildings, Haji Ali, Babulnath, Sidhi Vinayak, numerous churches n mosques , BMW running next to Auto rickshaws, Bus trying to go through bottle up traffic of Mumbai road, Sea breeze kissing ur hair from Marine Drive, Huge old Bungalows n old British , French architecture in Fort area.Wow... such a mix feeling and experience . True Cosmopolitan City!

Mumbai I Love You!
