My never-ending urge in exploration and a thirst for an exotic vacation, took me to a wonderful Khanvel Resort in Silvassa. The resort appears to be a dreamy place, built over 25 acres of land amidst the emerald green atmosphere and for a moment I could not take my eyes off it.
Sophisticated Accommodation
I was lucky to have stayed in one of the Gulmohar suites. This chain of suites is located on the opposite side of the main resort building and is particularly designed for wedding parties, corporate events and large group vacationers. The four suites are well equipped with room-service, emergency doctor service, hot and cold water, mini bar, LCD TV, telephone, guest supplies and laundry facilities. I must mention that the room decor and the cosiness screams comfort and luxury and has a great pool and garden views.
Apart from these Gulmohar suites you can book rooms in the main resort building that offers Deluxe, Super Deluxe, Club rooms and Cottage rooms. The Riverside cottages are at a distance from the main resort and are equally grand and beautiful.
Food That Lifts Your Mood
No matter how much I talk about the food experience that I had in this resort, it is not enough. Starting from day one till the last day of my staying, I had the pleasure of enjoying some of the fines culinary art. The breakfast buffet has varieties of options to choose from and the Emerald restaurant is specialised in authentic Indian flavours. And my most favourite place was the Lounge area that is slightly away from the main resort and is close to the cottages. This unique place has seating arrangements for morning cuppa and in the evening it turns into a fun-loving zone where one can choose from the varieties of mocktails and cocktails.
The outdoor swimming pool made my day as I used to enjoy perfect time there along with some great snacks from the poolside bar. The best part of the resort is that they have special baby pools.
Refreshing Activities
I love outdoor activities and I always find time for some fun moments. Here in Khanvel Resort sports lovers can enjoy table tennis and pool table as leisure activity. So you can never get bored.
Although I am not a party lover, but I had to see once the restobar of Khanvel Resort named Junk. This name filled in me excitement. This discotheque is absolutely cool and funky in appearance and one can party hard all night long.
The Spa Retreat was the one place I cannot forget for the fantastic time I had there. The spa massage was just the right dose one need after some tiring day. The soothing ambience of the spa calmed my senses and if I visit this place which I think I will be, I will surely indulge myself in a spa treatment.
Great For Couples, Family And Group Travellers
This resort has something for every traveller. From kids play area to Water Park; I believe Khanvel Resort boasts an ultimate stay. Even if you are a solo traveller like me you will not be disappointed.
Nearby Attractions That One Cannot Miss
When you have time in your hand and you want to get set to explore some of the interesting nearby places, Khanvel will offer you enough. The Nakshatra Garden and the Satmaliya Deer Park are very famous among the tourists. Then there is the popular Dudhani Lake, Swaminarayan Temple and the Tribal Museum. Moreover, tourists can take a jungle safari through the Vasona Wildlife Park to see the Asiatic Lions.
An experience of a lifetime in Khanvel Resort will always remain alive within me. And my short stay has only deepened my interest to visit again to create some more wonderful memories.
