Day 1

I was riding solo from Leh to Manali and as soon as I reached Rohtang Pass, a chill breeze welcomed me, my hands started shivering, and I could feel my whole body getting weak and cold. So I took a warm jacket from my bag and wrapped myself around it. Rohtang pass is located at Leh - Manali Highway and this is the pass of this highway. It is situated at 13058 ft altitude. I stopped there and lit a cigarette. Smoking cigarette was a complete different experience there, and there was a small shack selling momos and one cannot and shouldn't miss those hot momos at that altitude and with that cold temperature.
After clicking few pictures, I started moving towards Manali and this was the most challenging part which I didn't expect at all. There was fog all around and the visibility was zero. To cover those 15 kms it took me more than 2 hours because there was zero visibility and I couldn't increase my speed more than 10. Some people were not ready to drive and ride because of the poor visibility. Traffic was all messed up. Chaos everywhere. But the beauty those 15 kms was worth everything. Those 15 kms road was the most beautiful road on which I have traveled.
