The humongous flow of people #delhiites
Arena was set up, Asafa Powell made a mark to the podium, 7:10 in the winterised morning the race was flagged off. The run commences, ear phones were plugged in, tracking my run activity alongside it.
Several people around me questioned about the benefits of running for so long and paying them a certain amount to do so, honestly i have no answer up till now. I hope, people enthusiastic for run will better understand this and will wait for days to turn the questions around.
There were some who supported me but, they are no longer in touch.
Some environmental conditions didn't turn out in my favour and some personal commitments ruined my practice.
Now, i am a fresh soul looking to ramble around in Delhi. The route includes India gate, Rajpath, Rashtrapati Bhawan, Jantar Mantar, Purana Quila and some other good looking areas.
The people turned out in large numbers to support us and looking around i see a lot of younger and much older group of people doing the run.
Though i visited all those places but, the race day motivated me to run with an aim to finish it within 3 hours and i ended up with 2 hours 30 minutes.
That was the day when, i was lost in memories and thought of all the negatives which came in my way. But the very same day, motivated me to go for full marathon #15jan #Mumbai
Delhi is a city where you find people and historic monuments which sometimes can inspire you to live stronger. One just have to look around and find out their own reasons.
