It’s a 4 day trip covering few places in Assam and Meghalaya states. Directly landed in Guwahati, had lunch there in a local restaurant and experienced the sunset from Brahmaputra river in a cruise(definitely have to try this. There was live music going on in the cruise and yes they even have a bar in the cruise, grab a beer and enjoy the sunset). Took a cab in Guwahati directly to Shillong on the night itself.
Booked a local cab in Shillong for the entire day, been several places around Shillong.
In Shillong you have government transport providing a bus to cover several places near cherrapunjee. don’t miss this.
Finally the last day of trip, going back to Guwahati to board the flight. I went to donbosco museum(I suggest everyone to go and visit this place. It’s 7 floor museum) in Shillong and even been to umiam lake on my way to Guwahati.
