Tirumala temple atop those 7 hills

I planned the trip so as to meet my grandparents. Little did i know it would turn out to be one of the best trips I've had in terms of cutting off and having a relaxing time.

It was quite an experience for a typical city girl like me to stay in a small village. To start off the weather was absolutely perfect at the time and with no chocking car smoke around it felt like a little paradise. The house where i stayed was nestled in a small area which is surrounded by green fields and coconut trees and with a view of the hills in the distance. At night the sky would light up with a million bright dots. It provided the perfect getaway from the hustle of the city life into the serenity of the rural life.

If you plan on visiting such villages, make sure to take a person who understands the language. I had issues with transport since i could'nt read the boards and hence was left to the mercy of thankfully the helpful people around. Also if going south, the temples are a must visit. If we wish to avoid the crowd you can always visit the less famous ones. However what these temples lack in popularity, they make up for in their sheer brilliant aura. The architecture of the temples and the stories depicted through statues is mesmerising to say the least.
