Hi guys! I had an awesome time during my stay at #VivantabyTaj in Mumbai a few days back .So just thought of sharing a quick review about the place and my plush stay there .
Try to book well in advance if you want to enjoy the luxurious stay at a reasonable rate . I recommend booking through booking.com or agoda (avoid booking directly at the hotel otherwise you will have to shell out a lot of money around 8-10k per night .Both of these booking sites provide you with the best rate available on web for most of the hotel bookings. I had booked a deluxe delight partial sea view room a month before for 3500 bucks which included breakfast.
First of all the hotel is located in a very posh area of south mumbai ( Cuffe Parade) and the building stands next to Mr. Anil Ambani 's house ( but it is not as extraordinary as Antilia- the unique residing place of Mukesh Ambani) . The hotel is easy to approach by road as well and is very near to marine drive. The famous gateway of India & colaba are also not too far of from the hotel. I had booked an ola from the airport which charged me 350 bucks and it took a little more than an hour to reach this prepossessing property. The best part is that the route to the hotel includes crossing the long stretch of the divine marine drive famously known as queen's necklace. You can enjoy the sight of people jogging , munching on local street food , sitting by the sea side and enjoying the cool breeze ,students clicking selfies ,love birds romancing and much more :)
I was greeted with an excellent staff for an easy check in. They were polite and very supportive .Also as per my request ,they provided me with room slightly on the top and front side which allowed a winsome view from my room.
I am sharing the snaps of my room and the view from it . The rooms of the hotel are capacious and well designed. I really liked the colour coordination of beige and orange used. Study arena was my most-liked part of the room .The room has parquet( wooden ) floors, wooden platform beds, beautiful floor rugs and soft & cosy bed and pillows Peep outside the window and one could enjoy the lovely view of a sea. Although at a distance, I really liked the scenic view. And not to forget, the glimpse of anil ambani's house was clear from my room (tallest building on the right in the view snap) . The room had all the basic amenities which we expect at a 5* hotel & yes most importantly, wifi was perfectly on point. From fresh fruits beautifully arranged on the coffee table to a mini bar fridge , the room had it all to satisfy your small cravings.
The buffet was appealingly arranged at the Tarttoria restaurant of the hotel. Quantity was good , Quality was too good and ambience was exemplary for that comfortable morning dose .
I give this five star property an actual rating of 5 stars *****
Would love to go back for a stay all over again in future.
