It was Quite a long time we all had taken any trip ,May be due to work pressure and some other engagements.
Let me explain about out group first so that the narration of the story will be interesting and fun to read.
We were a group of 8 Engineers working for Samsung Mobility/Networks (Client) and were near to the samsung headquarter office in Suwon,In a area called maetan-dong.
So this time as soon as subhrakant(AKA RAJA Bhai) returns from his trip to India,he decides to go to Nami island ,So now it was time for taking confirmation from all the group members.
Manav had visited the place earlier so he denied to go,Ajit was on trip to india.
So it was me,RAJA bhai,Smita bhabi,Devdoot & Deepak were final for the trip.
No if you will go to Korea you will certainly understand the public transport system is so awesome & convenient that it will make you confused to choose the best on ,among so many best options,So finally it was decided that we will go by Direct Bus & it will be an one day trip so need to return to Suwon by evening.
So early morning around 6 o clock on Sunday we took cab to Yongtong bus tunnel to catch the bus directly to Naminara Island(Gapyeong Station).So it was around 3hr Journey and the tickets costed us 15000KRW (14$) for round trip ticket .So we left via the 6.20 Bus .The scenic beauty on both sides of the road are just mesmerising ,That will definitely convince you although Korea has Developed so much in terms of economy and industrialisation,it has always given reciprocal priority to Environment.
The Roads are just amazing and the bus took a short refreshment break of 5-10 minutes around 8:30 at a hop ,Then again the Journey continues and by 9;35 we reached to Gapyeong Bus Terminal .
After reaching there we took two taxis to reach(10 minutes drive) near the immigration office(Ticket counter ) of Nami island.
After getting the ticket(8000won/ ~7USD) we took the ferry after waiting for 15-20 minutes in the queue .The ferry takes 10 minutes to reach to the Nami island.
Once we were down at the island the beauty will just make you mesmerised ,So all our DSLRs were already out and with every shutter release sound it felt like we are definitely going to capture the Naminara island.:P
At the entrance we saw a stand containing flags of all different countries ,Seeing out Indian flag we were really excited .
So after that the journey by walk continued and so as the clicking ,we went to smoke in designated smoking area and then proceeded for breakfast in the Island ,It was little bit costly then the outside(Suwon).
After a stomach full breakfast we again continued exploring the island,And came to know via discussion the super hit hindi movie"Gangster" was shot in this island specifically the song "bheegi bheegi"
So we went to that place and i checked the video of the song on my mobile right then and there just to verify if its true & it is 110% true.
So after almost 6-7 hours of exploring the places and maxing out our Camera memory card memories it was time to return ,because as per out ticket 6:10 was the last return bus to suwon.So we continued with the ferry and then again took 2 cabs to reach the bus stop and after waiting for around 1/2 hour we got the last bus back to Suwon and reached by 10:30Pm to our respective rooms.
