Day 1

We were planning kareri trek from last 2 months but due to some reasons plans were cancelling.
We had two day holidays i.e. from 02-10-2017 to 04-10-2017.
So we planned a trip to kareri, we were going there for the first time and were pretty excited because it was a difficult trek when compared to serolsar lake and triund(where we've been before).
We took a bus from Kangra->Dharamshala-> Salli(Shahpur) and from salli we hired a taxi to Nauli Bridge. It was a 16km trek from there.

Day 2

We spend the next night in a tent but it was soo cold there. Temperature dropped to around -10°C and i could barely sleep the whole night . We woke up at 7am, had breakfast and started our further trek at 8am in the morning. It was a cold morning, birds were chirping and welcoming us to the beautiful mountains of Kareri. The view was mesmerizing and we were feeling refreshed.
After two hours of further trek we reached our destination "The Beautiful Kareri Lake."

And i was stunned by the beautiful lake surrounded by the Mighty Dhauladhar mountains.

And then after spending some quality time there we started descending and it took only 2.5hours to reach back to nauli bridge because we were getting late and we had our college very next day.. So yeah it was a trip to remember.

P.s. The pics will not justify the beauty of this place. In pics the lake looks so small in diameter. But it is pretty big .

Best time to visit- (March-June) and (September-October)
