Visa: Indonesia offers visa on arrival for Indians with a visa fee of 35 USD. It hardly takes 5 minutes for the process and hassle free.
Flight: there are various cheap connecting flights via Bangkok or Kuala Lumpur. Currently Thailand is offering free visa till October 2019 and if you want you can spend a day or 2 in Bangkok as well 😉
Rent a bike, it's cheap and very convenient. Rent usually varies from 300-500 INR. If you want taxi download grab app and you can book your taxi through that app.
Accommodation in Bali is very cheap and many good options at cheap prices.
I stayed in a hostel and that was around 300 rupees per day.
If you are travelling by taxi to any tourist attraction make sure you ask him about round trip.
It's very difficult to find grab on your return and the taxi stand at the attractions usually charge 5-10 times what you actually paid initially as they know you have no options.
On my arrival to Bali I had booked a grab bike to ulluwatu temple costing 20000 Indonesian rupiah.
On my return grab had no options and the taxi there were asking for 400000 Indonesian rupiah. I was lucky I got lift from a guy on his bike 😁 who dropped me to a nearby area from where I got a grab bike and realised that I had made a mistake by not renting a bike and rented a bike next day.
Bali is a very beautiful city. Roads are very smooth without any portholes. Riding a bike was like playing NFS 😁. Make sure you have an international driving licence. I was caught without it and had to pay some money to let me free. Negotiation is upto you 😋 and you can always say just in the morning I was caught and paid money and if you are lucky they might let you free😉
For accomodation you need to select your district where you want to stay. I preferred Kuta district near the beach and was happy with my location.
There are various bars/pubs/ destroys in that area and have a good night life.
All the tourist attractions are far away and it's usually a day trip to them. So you need to plan accordingly.

Though I couldn't visit every place wanted to I made a list I liked and visited accordingly.
You can mark your places you want to visit and can visit nearby places the same day.
About nightlife: it's good, I enjoyed my time there and not to mention the best disc in Bali the sky dome super club which closes around 4am.
