Kodaikanal is a weekend gateway from Bangalore. The beautiful hill station is just 465 kms away from the city and situated in the lap of Palani hills in the state of Tamil Nadu. I started my journey on Friday night to reach there by 10 AM.

Day 1:

The first stop was Pine Forest which is quite popular among the tourists. The mystic place will certainly make you spell bound.

The next stop was Poombarai Village view which was really an awesome one. The view is breathtaking.

Then we reached Kurinji Andavar temple. This place is serene and well maintained. Also we visited couple of view points suggested by our cab driver.

After visiting the place we came back to Kodaikanal lake road. Instead of waiting in long queue for boating, we roamed around nearby streets. It was an amazing experience.

Day 2:

We decided to go for forest tour and informed our hotel to get the necessary permissions. We started with our journey amid the forest of Pine and Eucalyptus. But first we decided to view the Kodai Lake from a different viewpoint.
