Day 1

So this was my dream cum fear.
I used to plan my bungee jump for a longer time.
It did take time to get accomplished.
Although it was scary when I watch people jumping from hundreds of feets .

But, yes once you get that feeling to overcome that fear you had all your life, you are bound to go for it.
And the same I did.

I planned tis trip unknowingly whether I would go,  in February month.

And it was planned for the first week of April 2019.

I was also wondering about my decision, thinking is it so early I am going to do it.

But sometimes your mind speaks louder than your negative thoughts.

That's enough for doing anything beyond your limits.

Yes, I am being very honest about my experience.

Cause for 1 and half months I did not share this plan with anyone including my friends and even family.

As, I travel solo a lot and this was one of my favorite and challenging one.

I went Rishikesh, had planned bunjee jump  with very amazing group of adventure activities named "Jumpin Heights".

They are group of really  professional and trained people.

They will  each and every thing once you reach to the jumping spot.

Also they guide you about Do's and Don's.

So yes it was an amazing experience of my life which made 2019 so so special to me.

I felt more live and full of energy and now I am going being more adventures than I used to be.

After this trip I found my self in a new form(full of life) which is  the most important thing I learnt this year.

I do have my more fears to overcome in upcoming years.

Trip Itinerary-

So, it was a trip for 2 days 1 night in Rishikesh Uttarakhand. Which is very planned for a weekend.

And yes I took train to make this journey happy as I was solo and also I prefer trains over buses.

So yes I Took a train which is Dehradun Shatabdi from Delhi to Haridwar.

And the it takes a sharing auto aur a bus to reach Rishikesh (Tapovan).

What I found , Tapovan seems to be center of Rishikesh.

You can easily find hotels and staying options, as well as the renting options for transport like scooter/bikes as per the need or budget.

What I did, reached Haridwar by 11.30 AM.

I took a sharing auto to Rishikesh , which I enjoyed cause It takes you through the Haridwar city to Rishikesh.

So will enjoy  the journey for sure.

Later, I reached Tapovan by 1.20 pm and I had to find my hostel.

It was a nice weather best for mooching around in this holy city.

Being in a live chaos you will definitely find yourself seeing people doing their religious rituals for sure.

Yes, sometimes you will also find more foreigners  rather than Indian people.

Though it does not effect the city's bright and beautiful ambiance.

So, after reaching to my hostel , I got to know about the actual distance of the place from where I was.

It was about 20kms from the main center of the city.

Ans yes now I needed to take a transport for being on time at Jumpin Height.

Lastly, with some help of my hostel's staff I could hire a scooter for round trip to the jumping spot.

The weather was pleasant so the road was not.
Although it was a beautiful experience of my first visit to the city like Rishikesh.

I haven't ever experienced the river flowing by the one side of road in my life.

So yes I enjoyed this short trip to the jumping spot also I kept talking to the person who was driving the scooter.

And yes meanwhile I learned many so called pahadi things on my way.

I remember, I got many calls form them to be on time as I was late and going to be last jumping person.

Once I reached, I saw many coming from the jumping spot calling their friends and families saying they had just experienced the Bunjee 😬.

I was going and observing people who were coming from the center.

Lastly the time came and after submitting my bag pack I was sent to the instructions and shown a vedio about do's and don'ts.

They also do a round of medicle check up which includes the BP etc.

They also check your weight.

So, after these formalities, I was sent to the main tower where jumping was going on.

And I was the second last member to enter.

I observed people in group who came for jump but I was all alone so called solo traveller.

I was keeping myself cool and convincing all is going to be great.

The steps you take to reach the final destination, seemed to me.

Lastly I went for it and yes for first 10 seconds I felt I am not there in this world.
