To start with let me tell you Tadiandamol Peak is the highest peak in Coorg and third highest peak of Karnataka at a height of approximately 1750m. It is one the best trek with full of adventure and fun.

Day 1

We were were a group of ten started from Bangalore in a tempo traveller on 24th Jan at around 9:30 pm. The journey to our homestay in coorg was 6 hrs approximately. We reached our homestay at around 3 am next day. We went in a tempo traveller , you can also go to Virajpet via bus from Bangalore and take a another bus to Tadiamdamol.

We were staying in The Backpakers Homestay. It's quite neat and clean and view from the Homestay was just awesome !!

Another amazing part was you can see thousands of stars above you..which you don't generally get to see in cities!

Day 2

Next morning woke up at 7am , had breakfast , packed our lunch and here we start our journey to conquer Tadiandamol.
In our tempo traveller we went to Tadiamdamol base. From there you can opt for a jeep which will cost 700INR for the entire jeep and will take you to the check post. But being the most enthusiastic group we decided to walk the complete way. Total trek is 7.5km one way . If you opt for a jeep it will be 5.5 km trek one way.
We started our trek at 9:30 am , trekking was too much fun and quite adventurous and you can click unlimited pictures , the nature looks so beautiful.
We were slowly heading towards our destination. Trust me you need both your physical and mental strength to Conquer Tadiandamol. Especially for the last 1 km definitely you need mental strength and positivity to have a sight from the top. We finally reached the peak at 1:30pm. The view was so mesmerising that you can just keep looking at it.
We had lunch , took lots of pictures and then started to come down. We were out of water while coming down and it was really tiring, luckily with the help of one of a trekker we came to know that there is a water source a  2 km down. We were able to search it and the water was coming from a waterfall , and trust me it brought life in every one . After getting refreshed we continued our remaining journey n reached the base at around 4:30 pm. There is a juice shop there , we all had some drinks and fruits and then went to the starting point on a jeep.
We boarded our tempo traveller and returned to our homestay. At night we all sat around a bonfire and that's all for the day.

Day 3

Next morning woke up at 7:30 am , had breakfast packed our bags and started for Iruppu falls. From our homestay it's around 1.5 hours of journey. We reached there , the water fall was around 800 meters from the base. What a view it was !! We all took a shower over there , the water was as chilled as ice , but we enjoyed a lot , took some awesome pictures. We spent around 2.5 hrs there and started to come down.we had some juice and refreshed ourselves and then headed towards Bangalore. On the way we had lunch in a restaurant and also you coorg is famous for its coffee , chocolate and homemade wine. We stopped at a shop and everyone bought their favourite items. There are 32 flavours of wine available. On the return journey we had Madur vada , one the typical vada I have ever tasted and we reached Bangalore at around 1 am midnight.
You can reach Bangalore at 11 pm itself , we had few trouble in our vehicle so need to stop twice for that.
Overall I would say this is one the best weekend gateway for Trekkers from Chennai and Bangalore. We went with a travel partner called Muddie Trails . I will surely recommend every one to have look at their upcoming trips as its budget friendly and you will have lots of fun and you will end up having new friends.
