Agra tourism industry, understanding of affiliate marketing

Tripoto

TajMahal and Petha, both are the identities of Agra. The cab driver asked me to add leather, too, but I doubt that.

There are millions of tourists who visit Agra every day to see Taj. Even during the off-season, Agra is full of tourists. That's why a large sum of earning of Agra residents come from the tourism industry, and you can't even guess how it works.

The tourism industry in Agra is more like affiliate marketing. We all learn; bloggers would understand the term.

It is a big chain of marketing that starts as soon as you check-in in your hotel. Every service provider pays a commission to the hotelier regardless of your spending at their store. The taxi/rickshaw you hire also gets a considerable commission just to stop the taxi at a petha shop, restaurant, park, or a small accessories shop. It doesn't matter whether you shop or not. And once the purchase is made, they also share profit.
