RAJASTHAN is also famous for the colorful theme of its cities and of course one cannot forget about the magnificent Thar Desesrt (also known as the Great Indian Desert).

1)JAIPUR (THE PINK CITY)

JAIPUR is the capital of RAJASTHAN and you can get the vibes of the capital city here . Jaipur is the largest city in Rajasthan and was built in the eighteenth century by Sawai Jai Singh as India's first planned city.

Jaipur is often called the Pink City in reference to its distinctly colored buildings, which were originally painted this color to imitate the red sandstone architecture of Maugham cities.

2) AJMER (The Holy City)

Popular for the Dargah Sharif — shrine of sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti, Ajmer is surrounded by the Aravalli range and the Naag Pathar range.

3)PUSHKAR (Hosts the largest camel fair in India)

This city has been known all over the world for its annual Camel Fair. Pushkar houses the rare a)Brahma Temple.

b)The Pushkar Lake is also a popular Hindu pilgrimage and has got several ghats as well .

2018 Pushkar Fair will begin on Thursday, 15 November and ends on Friday, 23 November.

4. UDAIPUR (The City of Lakes)

Udaipur used to be the capital of the kingdom of Mewar. Udaipur is also known as the Venice of East.

5)JOHDPUR (The Blue City)

The royal city and has got several forts, palaces, and temples to enchant travelers from different corners of the world. Famous as the Sun City because of its sunny weather, Jodhpur is also known as Blue City for the blue houses near the Mehrangarh fort.

One of the most ancient cities in Indian history , the city has been the birthplace for many historical figures including Maharana Pratap and Meera Bai. It is situated on the banks of river Berach and has several heritage forts, monuments and associated stories and fables.
