Day 1

While half my life is spent on thinking what exactly I am doing with it, the other half is quietly and discreetly spent on harboring secret dreams. In other words, Daydreaming. An insanely private person that I am, I generally share those 'little big things' with only a handful of people in my life. And these are the people who would smile when I enthusiastically pack packets of Lays for a 60-minute train ride, leave to the airport 5 hours prior to the check-in time, make travel itineraries for countries that I might probably never visit in my lifetime, learn saying Thank You in over 15 languages or even rant about the cold gush of wind that blew through the window of my moving train. These are the people who can happily listen to me gush about the two things I am extremely passionate about - being on the move and at the prospect of being on the move. I can wait at the airport for hours looking at people moving around. I can stare outside the window of my moving train for hours watching the glorious landscapes pass by. I can plan an impulsive trip to a country whose existence I just learned about. Prospect, my friend, is the law of affirmation I hold on to my life.

This one day, I set out on a solo trip to Kerala happily carrying my backpack(stated reason at home: friend's wedding). There was a wedding happening for sure and I was attending it. But that wasn't the *only* reason I was going. My parents knew this - that I am a bloody opportunist who embraces every travel event life throws at her. Sometimes, we all need to operate from a space of 'letting be' so the status quo or the sanctity of the relationship is intact.

I've always been a huge fan of Kerala, its people, language, music ( of course the movies too!) and culture. And what better than sitting in the boat listening to your favourite 'Akale' song from the movie Charlie and reliving those awesomesauce frames through the lens of your eyes!

Okay, now that's enough. Here are a few #nofilter photos *shot* on Moto G2. You're here at your own risk :)

The picture doesn’t do justice to the kind of green actually present

Coconut, coconut everywhere!

Stopped enroute to drift away in a canoe through the many tiny water channels. Just me and the boatman.

Day 2

The way back from Kuttanadu to Alleppey from a window of a bus, coz, remember, there was a wedding to attend?
