It was around 1:30 A.M, we were coming back from elements mall(Jaipur) after watching Uri:The Surgical Strike(Amazing movie). We were around 10-15 minutes away from reaching our home but there was a feeling that the road would not end and we keep on going forward. That was the time everyone agree to skip office the next day and go somewhere. We started exploring options, the first name which poped up in our mind was Jaisalmer but we only had a day's time then we decided to visit Udaipur as it was around 350 KM away and its also a small place.
It only requires a day to explore all the relevant places. City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Pichola lake, Saheliyon-ki-Bari, Fateh Sagar lake and Monsoon palace are a few major attractions.
Tips :-
1. If you want to visit city palace but don't want to spend 200 Rs per head for the visit you can opt for complex ticket worth 30 Rs, with complex tickets you can view the complex and get some good pics and can see lake Pichola.
2. Saheliyo-ki-Bari is a small place, you only need around half an hour to see the place
3. I will strongly recommend you to finish your trip at Monsoon Palace which closes at around 5, buy tickets prior the closing time and watch sunset from there.
