Day 1

Travelled from Bangalore to Trivandrum by train. The train journey was a great experience and it took about 17 hours. The views during the journey were absolutely gorgeous. We saw rivers and lakes and trees and it was absolutely breathtaking . Attaching the train views so that you can also experience it.

Reached Trivandrum early morning, had a proper Kerala breakfast and then we were on the road. We first went to a museum in trivandrum and then the Kovalam beach.

Kovalam beach is absolutely beautiful. It's not that crowded and the sunset it gorgeous.

Day 2

Woke up really early. Went to Padmanabhaswamy temple today.

If you're planning to visit this temple I suggest you carry traditional clothes. If you don't have clothes then it won't be a problem, it's easily available outside the temple.

The dress code is as follows:

Girls: A Saree or a long skirt

Boys: Munu (Dhoti) or kurta.

After the temple we went to Vivekananda rock. A jetty or boat takes you from one side to the other. To reach Vivekananda rock you have to take the jetty and there will be a queue for the jetty so you might have to wait a while.

The Vivekananda rock is beautiful. The wind blows there and you get fresh air. It's right in the middle of the sea. It's an amazing experience and it's gorgeous.

After spending quite some time at Vivekananda rock, we travelled to Kanyakumari by car. Stayed at a resort at night.

Day 3

And again we woke up super early to catch the sunrise as Indira point (the end of India) in Kanyakumari.

It will be a bit crowded so you have to reach early to secure your viewing spot. The sunrise it absolutely beautiful and the ambience in the morning is amazing. It's totally worth it waking up super early.

After viewing the sunrise we decided to take a walk around kanyakumari, it has beautiful Portuguese colonies and it's amazing early in the morning. We stumbled upon this gorgeous church and there were prayers going on. It felt surreal and amazing.

We took a boat ride in a lake in Kanyakumari in the afternoon and you can see the lake joining the sea and it's amazing. The boat ride was a nice relaxation and it felt amazing. It was the best way to end the trip.

We then went back to the resort in the evening and took the train to Bangalore at night.

It was an amazing trip and Kerala is definitely God's own country and it feels amazing to be there. It's gorgeous and definitely a must visit place.
