Kurumbalakotta is a monolith hillock located in Wayanad district at Kerala, India. Situated at 3,220 feet above sea level, the hill gives a splendid view of the scenery spread around. Geographically, the mountain is a part of the Deccan plateau and is in the centre of Wayanad.
This is the top of the hill. You will see an amazing view from this location. You can see the real view of that location by the photos posted by me.. When I visited this place, the whole area is covered with mist and humidity so that we didn't see anything.
Their are two major parking stations under this hillside. Both are paid parking (Rs 40). The road towards the peak is not that much good. 45° inclined rocky pathway which is dangerous to kids and elders. So I recommend extremely dangerous pathways only to youngesters. Their is an another parking and road towards this location. I don't really know about the conditions of that second road.
Another important thing is that, if you want to enjoy the real beauty, you must reach their on early morning at least 5.15 am -6:00 am.
Their are certain tea shops at the peak. Approximately 45 minutes takes to reach the peak. But for athletes and healthy peoples it took only 20-30 minutes
