Summers are always testing for ppl leaving in planes. With time number of tourist going to mountains increases with increasing heat. Amongst all the tourist a true traveller soul thive for the soulful experiences on a journey. There are tough time in everyones life, decisions to be made that take you away from someone special. When one is fighting so much inside, only God's strength is the light that ends the darkness.
Rishikesh is known majorly for the rafting and scenic experience. But for me it was a test to choose traveling over that someone special and gaining an learning experience.
It was holi time, when trip started and I with one of my friend started the trip. This trip tought me to stay calm when we face uncontrollable situations as we cant manage everything and keep faith in almighty as he will take care of the worthy relations when we cant. Thus trip enhanced my belief in HIM and journey defined by him.
Trip cost:
Travel- 500-1000 INR one way by train or bus comfortably.
(One can reach Rishikesh via Haridwar half hour distance, convince easily available)
Food: 500-600 INR per person per day
(Food is delicious and cheap just choose the place wisely not all outlets provide good food)
Accomodation: since i stayed at one of my relatives place at AIIMs premises can share my personal review on it.
Although i head about my friends experience and they said it to be pocket friendly.
Camping near the bank of Ganga or rafting point is also available at good rates.
Rafting: 800 INR per person, covering a 16km stretch along the river till Ram jhula.
Althought we travellers know that there are variation in online and on spot booking. Cheaper cost is offered on spot specially for large group.
One can explore it if not travelling with kids.
Also camping and rafting combined packages are available at pocket friendly rates.
