We started our journey from Guwahati to Meghalaya at around 4am in the morning . We stopped couple of times because of the views just after entering Meghalaya . One can't simply ignore those views of the rising sun. The clouds there will play games with the sun . Our plan was to trek Mawryngkhang trek which is one of the scariest trek of India . At around 8:30am we reached Mawryngkhang and did breakfast in the car as it was raining heavily . We started the trek at 9:00 am with a lot of energy and enthusiasm . It's a 1.75km (approx) trek which we thought was a bit short at the beginning but realized how wrong we were half way through the trek with raining continuously . With no energy left we somehow managed to scale those dangerous mountains and reached the end point of the trek. The views from there are so breathtaking that instantaneously we realize that all the pains and risk is worth it . The continuous downpour makes the view more beautiful and the trek more dangerous . After enjoying the views and taking photos and all we started our return journey . Met few groups of people from Bangalore on the trek . By the time we finished it's 12 pm and we were very tired. Had tea at a tea stall and looked for a hotel for a hotel as we were all tired and have no energy left to go to and place rather then a bed . Went to a resort "Piet Them resort" and freshened up and went to see a waterfall which is in the resort premises . Then took dinner and the day ends
Woke up at 7:30am . Took breakfast and we are headed to krang Suri falls . There we did Zip lining for the first time in my life . It's and amazing experience hanging to a zip and looking at all the nature's amazing creations . And then spent the rest of the day swimming in the waterfalls . No photos as we didn't not took the camera with us as we were all gonna swim . After swimming did a little Photoshoot and returned back to Guwahati .
