Great Wall of China

Great of Wall of China is something that almost everyone wishes to see at least once in their lifetime. And luckily I got that opportunity to witness the architectural magnificence of the Great Wall!

There were 3 of us and we had booked for a package tour of the Great Wall from our University at Beijing. The tour included visit to the Wall, local temple and lunch.

Here we start! The weather was very pleasant. So we decided to climb as far as we can!

Even here, there is this tradition of hanging locks on the side rail and throwing away the key into the valley!

So this was our final point of the climb. It was so high above the ground and the view from here was breathtaking.
