While the national capital is bracing the odd-even rule yet again, there is a lake that follows this rule as well. Yes, you read it right! You can visit this lake only on the 10th, 20th and 30th of each month and the name of the lake is just as fascinating as the stories that surround it. Popularly known as the 'Lake of No Return', this beauty of nature is located on the border of Arunachal Pradesh in the Changlang district.

Where is it?

The lake is visible from the Pangsau Pass and is just 12 km from Nampong.

Why only three days?

Well, this is because the Border Trading markets open only on the 10th, 20th and 30th of every month and it is only on these dates that Indians are allowed cross the international border at Pangsau Pass. You can also see the World War II Observatory post at Wintong located just 20 km from Nampong.

While its original name is as peculiar as it could get, the lake is also referred to as 'India's Bermuda Triangle'. Wondering why? It is believed that during the World War II, a number of allied aircraft crash-landed in this lake and many people lost their lives. All the more reason to visit this mysterious lake!
