Any talk about Indonesia embraces the mesmerising beauty of its beaches. Bali, Java, Malang and what not. But what about Jakarta, the Capital? I found Jakarta holding a lot among which today i will talk about its art that hikes up the city beauty.
Merdeka Square.
This place puts on a lot of happiness in display. Women biking around, kids playing in peace, fountain, little souvenir shops, restaurants and so much more you may find in this area.

Since this is in the centre, its always a good idea to meet up in here and tour around. This area has clear signs to the museums and monuments around. Tourists may also choose to visit other areas first and arrive in the square to loosen up. The most interesting part of this area is the huge arts scattered around, be it a simple cycle positioned against a lovely wall art to make it amusing or the walking statues.
Oh, before i forget to mention, if you are fan of street food, this place offers you that adventure.
I dont see much of a public transport facilities. Taxis or small vehicles are cool. Not everyone speaks English and always are ready to help.
