Day 1

Watsuppp guys!! This time it is Auroville. I always wanted to go here. Actually I was staying for 2 days in Pondicherry and Auroville is only 11.1 km from Pondi. When I went there, it felt like a small future city located in the middle of nowhere. It is a wide space and has beautiful homes build by the local community. It had an exhibition hall and then we have to walk towards the main dome, where the main meditation hall is.

TRAVEL TIPS:

Guys if you need to visit the meditation hall, book your tickets prior. Easiest way to visit Auroville is from Pondicherry, by an auto, it takes 20 mins. Keep water bottles to stay hydrated, though they have a canteen, a book store, music store and a clothing store within the premises.

It was a perfect peaceful experience. I meditated in the main temple for sometime. It was a minimal yet futuristic built from inside like a spaceship. It was quite amazing and in the main hall, there was no deity to worship only a ray of light coming from the top of dome, designed to reflect sunlight and it went from the middle till the last point on floor and merged.

Cheers! Enjoy the Blog!
