The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia is Melbourne’s first public art museum dedicated to the Australian art. The Arts Centre has a wide selection of art display ranging from paintings to photography. The collection represents some of the Indigenous art’s historical and contemporary works. The admission to the museum is free and it opens every day.

The Shrine of Remembrance is an Australian monument which was first opened in 1934. The shrine was built by the veterans of the First World War.

The shrine is known for its classic architecture and is the main centrepiece at the sprawling park. Visitors can climb up to the roof area and witness the panoramic views of Melbourne city. For a unique insight into this special place, the shrine is free for admission and the tours are available daily from 11:00 am and 12:45 pm.
