Located about 400 km from Tuscany, Italy in the very heart of Mediterranean Sea, lies the mountainous island of Corsica. This fourth largest island in the Mediterranean has a remarkably diverse geography that ranges from more than 200 beaches, and a 1000 km long coastline to a stupendous cluster of more than 20 peaks that makes for more than two-thirds of the isle.

The French Island has seen its fair share of historical turbulence during the First World War, and surpassed, and stands today, with an unwavering spirit, as a French mainland. However, that is to say that the beauty of this island with its turquoise blue waters, verdant terrain still lies vastly unheard of.

Words can do only so much justice to the tantalizing beauty of this island. Corsica reveals itself to us in layers, bit by bit, uncovering its rustic villages, narrow lanes bursting with splashes of the most vibrantly hued houses, and snow-capped mountains. Though we bet, there are far more undiscovered gems on this ‘Isle Of Beauty’ waiting to reveal themselves, all those miles away from us.
