London is a dream destination for many. If you are planning to check it off your list, whether as a family or a group of friends or a solo traveller, let me assure you're in for a crazy journey. With massive interest building on budget travel, it's safe to say London can be listed for the budget traveller.

London is at an absolute forefront of hostel and hip culture. From vintage hotels to hipster themed options, from the night life lover to artsy creative buffs, London has all of it to offer. The city is filled to the brim of creative and yet budget friendly places to offer. Old Victorian houses and mansions are being converted to happy hostels offering stay options at a shoestring of a price and added amenities that only create an exciting environment. The cost of traveling in London can be quite high, which is why, saving up on stay can be a good start to revamp your travel budget.

Here is a list of my favourite hostels in London!

Quick Look:

Favourite recommendation: Wombat's city hostel

Most unique hotel/hostel: Green Rooms Hotel

Imagine staying right amidst the city centre at affordable prices and great amenities? Being just a stone's throw away from Tower of London, the London bridge and all the major sightseeing spots, this hostel is literally one my favourites.

The one trick I use when I travel is to carefully choose my stay. With London and it's crazy conveyance costs and time consumed, it's smartest to be centrally located, and there is nothing more central you'd find at such rates.

I personally recommend Wombats hostel for many reasons. Some attributes being: Location, Design, Comfort, Food and amenities.
