Planned stays at - Hotel Tamarind 2N , Acacia 1N , Zuri white sand 2N. There are many good alternatives to Hotel Acacia in Candolim.

We started our journey from Satara. It took 7 hours to reach Anjuna , Goa (350 kms from satara). We had planned our stay at “Hotel Tamarind” for first two days. The hotel is very well maintained. We had booked premium room as Deluxe and Standard rooms are bit smaller.

Distance of tourist attractions from Hotel Tamarind-

Anjuna Beach 2kms.

Vagator Beach 3kms.

Thalasa approx. 4kms

Club Cabana approx. 3kms

Chapora Fort approx. 5km

We went to Thalassa for lunch, one of the popular Greek-style restaurants in Vagator. We ordered "Grilled Pomfret with Hot Butter Garlic Sauce".

Thalasa is the must visit destination in North Goa where you can experience the wonderful view of Small Vagator beach with some delicious Greek food.

In the evening we spent some time on Anjuna Beach.

Day 2

In the morning we had breakfast at “Lila Cafe”. It’s a German style restaurant. Breakfast was scrumptious. We had Croissant with Tuna filling, Omelette, Banana-Chocolate Pancakes and a coffee.

Then we headed towards Small Vagator beach. For the best view of small vagator you need to go on the beach area which is exactly in front Antares Restaurant, Sara Todd from Australia started this restaurant few years back. It’s just besides the Thalassa.

After spending time in vagator we went to Maharashtra-Goa border. Fort Tiracol Heritage , the perfect place for lunch. While having lunch you can see the beautiful view of Keri beach.

The food served here is really great in taste.

In the late evening we planned for Club Cabana.

Day 3

In the morning around 9.30 am, we checked out from Hotel Tamarind. After having delicious breakfast at Cafe Cotinga, cafe run by Tamarind management itself. Then we visited Chapora Fort.

After spending some time there we headed towards Panjim. After visiting Basilica of Bom Jesus and Church of St Francis of Assisi, we had lunch at Cafe Ritz, the best in taste. We had traditional fish thali and Chonak fry in recheado masala preparation.

We checked in to Hotel Acacia at Candolim. In the evening we spent time on Sinquerium Beach.

We had dinner at one of the best local restaurants in Calungute, Sai Prasad Restaurant. It serves authentic Goan food. We tried Pomfret fry and Crab Masala. I had been here almost 5-6 times earlier. The taste of food has remained the same. It is the great place for fish lovers. Here in calungute you can find many good restaurants like Fisherman’s Cove but if you want to go for 100% authentic Goan food then Sai Prasad is the best place.
