Well , I never thought I would be writing a blog on my travel however Bir compelled me to do so.

We started our journey from New Delhi on 1st March'18 . While there are multiple ways to reach Bir we chose Volvo boarded from Majnu Ka Tila and direct till Bir Road.

The bus journey was amazing as usual with comfort and it felt we reached our destination in a jiffy.

Post deboarding at Bir road we implored ourselves to walk till our home for next 3 days : Zostel

The walk for next 15 minutes was just about gazing through the beauty the place withheld. People so warm and helping with the directions and chants from the temple on road rejuvenated us and made us forget all the tiredness.

Day 1

Checked in to Zostel and it already felt like we were at home. We purposely chose a dorm instead of a private room in order to mingle with people and get along with different perspective(s) in sight and people from different diaspora.

We chose to chill at Zostel take a nap and post which we just explored the property. It has a lounge on the terrace to just sit and chill with people.

Moving ahead we explored the Tibetan Colony market and binged ate the local delicacies. Cafe Vairagi is one good outlet I can recommend. We spent the night at Zostel mingling with people.

Day 2

Due to heavy rains our para gliding was called off anywhich ways it was not the only aim of the trip so it did not affect us much. We explored the monasteries around and lost in the marvelous intricacies we spend the day visiting monasteries and walking the roads without knowing where are we headed to. I believe that's what wanderers do. Night again was spent at the Zostel lounge with more people onboard and connecting wavelengths we made friends.

Day 3

As it continued to rain the next day as well we headed to Nyingma monastery , sat there for almost an hour and meditated giving us a new dimension to our lives far away from hustle bustle of the city and our daily routines.

Headed back to Delhi with lots of memories and blessings of mother nature which will be treasured in our hearts forever.

Some important points: The area as only 1 ATM and only 1 Cafe accepts PayTM , my recommendation would be to carry enough cash. Bir , Billing are not yet too commercialized like other hill stations hence foot fall is minimal , only plan if you are willing to explore yourself more! #BestOfTravel
